Our Practice

Doctors Michelle Spuza-Milord and Swanthri DeSilva get personally involved in the care of each of their patients.

Their partnership offers a unique combination of specialties, Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology. As a team, they provide state of the art diagnosis and treatment, expert consultation and second opinions concerning difficult or complex inflammatory conditions.

We have concentrated our focus as Internal Medicine subspecialists in the fields of Rheumatic diseases, Arthritis and Rheumatism, Autoimmune diseases, Allergies, and Osteoporosis.

We find that our patients need special attention, more often extensive visits, in-depth monitoring, and educational opportunities using hands on materials and models. Our goal is to both treat you with the most current treatment modalities available, and to empower you with the right tools for you to become healthier. Together with our trained staff, we are able to provide you with quality service.

As our patient, you will be thoroughly evaluated, your findings will be explained, and your treatment will be planned according to your individual needs. We routinely review your active and chronic medical problems, since many rheumatic and autoimmune disorders are systemic and affect multiple organs. Your non-rheumatologic and non-immunologic problems, however, will be referred back to your family physician for continuity of care, which is very important.

If you are one of our winter residents, it will be our pleasure to contact your doctor back home, so that your care in Florida will continue smoothly.
